Masonry/Brick Repair
SNG Chimney performs a wide range of masonry repair, brick repair, tuck pointing, back walls, fireplace floor repair, and crown repair. One of the biggest reasons that chimneys leak is a damaged crown. The crown is the cement or concrete top of the chimney.
We now repair the crown with Mortar Preserve. It is a flexible mortar material that will absorb the changes in weather without cracking. It expands and contracts with the flue tiles. Common mortar will crack again with the change in seasons, eventually. It does carry a 10 year warranty from the manufacturer and a one year labor warranty.
